I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt for now and include them on this list, because I’m sure that they will straighten out the kinks over time, and what Viking Mama does have to offer is an excellent location (in the heart of El Carmen), 5 huge TV screens and a yummy-looking menu with burgers, nachos and more.

With that said, Viking Mama only opened its doors in March 2020, and so it’s understandable that they are still having teething troubles – I can’t imagine a worse time to open a bar! Specifically, the staff don’t seem to know what they’re doing and they are often out of stock when it comes to drinks on offer (they had no wine whatsoever when I visited, and they were also out of half the beers on the menu!). If there’s a game you particularly want to watch but you don’t see it on their schedule, just shoot them a message and they will make it happen. Located on Gran Via, an affluent area of Valencia packed with cocktail bars and high-end restaurants, St Patrick’s is a welcome change to the fancier establishments in the area. St Patrick’s is arguably the best Irish pub in Valencia, and is actually staffed by Irish people!
